Week 4 : How to make a good E-Mail



What is E-Mail ?

         Short for electronic maile-mail or email is information stored on a computer that is exchanged between two users over telecommunications. More plainly, e-mail is a message that may contain text, files, images, or other attachments sent through a network to a specified individual or group of individuals. ( computerhope.com )

             In this meeting, we learnt about how to make a good e-mail on formal occassion such as when you want to write to your lecture, teacher, and any other important person.




A good E-Mail consist :             
1.       

  1. The subject line.Know who you will send the email, to line is filled in with the primary recipient's email address. Furthermore, the CC line is filled with email addresses of recipients copy / email (this section may not be filled if you do not want anyone else to receive the email) and on the BCC line the same as the CC line, you are not required to fill in this line.what is the difference between CC and BCC in an email (For those of you who want to know what cc and bcc are and how to use them correctly, CC and BCC are used for messages with a copy to a specific email address.
  2. Start with an appropriate greeting.
  3. Contents must be short, concise and clear
  4. Use standard fonts and numeric
  5. Writing your closing.
  6. Attach documents if necessary
  7. You can also write your own signatute or your contact.



      By learning this I become more aware of how to make a good email and in accordance with applicable rules, and is very useful for me when I will later send an email to others, especially on formal occasions, and also I just found out about the use of signatures automatically in option settings.
